About TTPC

Teknologi Tenaga Perlis Consortium Sdn Bhd (TTPC) was incorporated on 11th July 1996 and was granted a license by the Minister of Energy, Telecommunications and Posts to build, own and operate a power plant in Malaysia.

TTPC is one of the six Independent Power Producers (IPPs) established under the Malaysian Privatisation Scheme to supply electricity to the national electric utility company, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).

Our 650MW combined cycle power plant in Perlis achieved Commercial Operation Date on 31st March 2003, completed in a record time of 21 months from financial close with no cost overrun.

GET Incorporated

Global E-Technic Sdn Bhd (GET), a wholly owned subsidiary, was incorporated on 27th April 2001 for O&M services.

2003

Commercial Operation

Achieved Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 31st March 2003.

2004

Awards & Certifications

Received Bronze Engineering Award and triple ISO certifications.

2007

Credit Rating Upgrade

Bonds upgraded to AA1 rating by RAM Rating Services.

Global E-Technic Sdn Bhd (GET)

A wholly owned subsidiary of TTPC, incorporated on 27th April 2001 with the primary objective of performing operation and maintenance services on TTPC's power plant.
